Changed my mind about this one.

Anyway, Kingy’s in trouble (iykyk)

King in a casual, striped shirt and black skirt, standing against a black background wh her head tilted, looking distressed as black hands close around her neck from behind. Wasn’t gonna post this but my homie talked me into it

#KOFtober repost for prompt 24: Pets

Being a cat mom is a job in and of itself.

*Some notes about the cat in the alt text ;)

#KOF #KingofFighters #ArtofFighting #King #Marron #AlwaysCreditTheArtist

King, dressed in house clothes, yelling, "GET BACK HERE, ASSHOLE!!!" at her cat, Marron, who is running off with a pink, iced donut in his mouth. And yes, I know SNK's socmed guy said that the white cat in the OLD-ASS AOF art that predates Marron's existence by YEARS is him, but fuck that. That image is from the first AOF, but King doesn't adopt the cat until KOF 96 (that's the first mention of him anywhere). Additionally, Marron is literally French for "brown."

King is lying on her side in bed, eyes half-closed and clearly perturbed, while her cat peeks over her shoulder, with "Meow" written over and over behind him. In the foreground is a clock that reads 5:38AM.

Unlike the arcade, Art of Fighting on SNES let you play as Mr. Big and Mr. Karate! Did you ever pull off Ryo's secret desperation move with a full Spirit meter?

Some Bi Visibility Day whimsy from everyone's favourite kickboxing bartender~🍷

King wearing casual clothes (including a t-shirt that says "Not a phase" with a bisexual planet on it), holding a bottle of Hella Fine wine and waving the bisexual flag. There are little bi-coloured sparkles above her because why not.

Went back and made some changes to this. Still not sure if I like the finished product but, I mean... the world needs more wholesome art of King with Jean.

*A couple of notes in the alt text

#KOF #KingofFighters #ArtofFighting #King #Jean #AlwaysCreditTheArtist

King in casual wear (a green pullover hoodie and jeans) with Jean on her back. Obviously pre-Art of Fighting 2 because kiddo's legs are in splints since he can't walk on his own. Additionally, King is sporting shorter, slightly differently styled hair and a little more baby fat in her cheeks since she's still baby -- with little bags under her eyes because her guilt about working for Big keeps her up at night.

Also, don't dare come at me with "It's JAN!" No, dude, it's always been Jean; SNK mistranslated his name but finally corrected it leading up to and in KOF XV :)

Draw fanart of a character…

- On-model/as to canon as possible
- In your style and/or with your headcanons

On the left is canon King — a big tittied dropped pie with a shitty reverse bob haircut. She is blushing and asking, « When will Ryo love me? » then comments, « Let me blush some more »

On the right is illyverse King: a suave, disaster bisexual (yes that is an oxymoron whatever) who definitely just fucked a certain, crimson-haired boxer.

Late night or maybe early morning doodle: young King (what I imagine she might have looked like, anyway) with bb Jean.

Digital pencil doodle of King, as a pre-teen, holding bb Jean, who is clearly popping. King is yelling “Merde” which means “shit” while someone off screen is yelling “Serveille ton langage” (“watch your language”)

Decided to rework an older piece for funsies, so here's seventeen-year-old King trying to enjoy a bowl of Frankeberry cereal while being lectured about basically her entire existence (at this point in her life) first thing in the AM.

#KOF #KingofFighters #ArtofFighting #King #AlwaysCreditTheArtist

King AKA Cécile, angrily eating a bowl of Frankenberry cereal. Behind her are a series of "blah blah blahs" with actual words ("unacceptable," "brother," "unladylike," "fighting") interspersed throughout. Obviously this is some total headcanon shit; no one knows what she canonically looked like at seventeen so whatever this is my house get all the way off my back.
