I tried gel plate printing on fabric yesterday and it half-worked? The print smudged a lot and the result is not perfect but the image DID transfer so that's exciting

A very cool paper came out today! The authors make a catalogue of stellar proper motions for 1.4 *million* stars in the dense Omega Centauri globular cluster with Hubble space telescope data.
Their precision and number of stars make this really impressive work! 🔭

Well this is blowing my mind a little. The idea of objects are more a (helpful) asbtract framing than actual reality, but doing so also leads to many incorrect conclusions.

It had three genders, but they were animate, inanimate, and abstract. So the English word "dog" would be gendered animate, "table" would be inanimate, and "patience" would be asbtract. eg. "tegad" (tongue) changes gender by plosive>affricate mutation from inan to abst to become "tegadz" (language).
