I'm learning about assgate
what I‘m trying to say with this is that I hate seeing the corporatization of merch in real time, but also I think the fandom in general has to chill with getting pissed at marketing. First Assgate, now Divorced Dadsgate, it’s exhausting seeing any ounce of personality get dogpiled on
I guess this is a hot take, but I just kinda miss the days when merch could just do whatever and be fun and tease references in fandom w/out being given the same emotional weight as a season finale
