Oh this is very clever. Perspective effects play a bigger role in astronomy than you might think at first.

Astrobites, BTW, writes about journal papers at a moderately technical level. It's a great resource for undergrad/grad students, or high school students who are into the science.

Writing for Astrobites helped me realize my passion for science communication, and I would not have made the jump from academia to the field of science writing without it.

Astrobites is an amazing organization and I highly recommend applying ⭐
@astrobites.bsky.social is accepting applications for a new cohort of writers! Being part of the collaboration was an amazing experience; if you're a graduate student interested in writing about astronomy, I can't recommend it enough.
