Just learned The Legendary Axe, one of my favorite PC Engine games, is a spiritual sequel to Astynax, one of my favorite NES games!

Thanks to another great entry in RndStranger’s PC Engine Power series, reviewing every game in the PC Engine library.

I want a compilation of both Legendary Axe and both Astynax games on the same cartridge/disk.

Blades of Steel is probably my overall favourite? It's the game me and my partner have played the most, mostly against one another. But some other favourites would be Rollergames, Space Shuttle Project, Ninja Gaiden, Shatterhand, Astynax, Project Vice, and Cobra Triangle.

Oh, and also, if you like the Zelda Games, try Astynax on Nintendo, I think you'd really like it. It's not an open world like Zelda is, but the story and game play are worth it.

I don’t think Zeus was lying either time: I choose to think he meant it when he said Astynax would kill Odysseus’s family if he lived and when he said that he would accept Odysseus’s life as payment for the crew eating the cattle (respondeat superior and all that). It’s more interesting that way imo

Precision bows got a buff in PVP recently, to the point where they can now comfortably 1 head 1 body kill at any resilience. Bows like Raconteur (craftable), Pre Astynax (has an adept) and Neoptolemus II (enhanceable) are hitting hard and well, especially against pulses and the like

OH this is neoptolemus killing priam during the actual sacking of troy , so it isn't in the iliad or the odyssey proper. there's a decent bit of stuff that depicts him beating him to death with the corpse of astynax after either he or odysseus kills him which is. what is happening here
