Just received the decisions concerning asylum applications for a mom and 4 children from Afghanistan... THEY DID IT. THEY WERE ALL GRANTED ASYLUM.

What could possibly justify locking up an 8 yo child for 9 months without his mother…is there an answer that isn’t monstrous? The mother says she was forced to choose: be separated from her son, or give up his right not to be detained indefinitely.

A judge ordered Liam Conejo Ramos released. Federal lawyers are still pushing to remove him, fast. This is a deliberate choice to harm a child.

Remembering my lovely PolskiGrandpa a refugee who died on this day 19 years ago #WorldRefugeeDay. He lived peacefully in the UK for 60 years, married and had a family, had a job and began to feel safe.
