Aw, tomorrow's Tour stage starts in Pau and finishes high up in the Pyrenees but they ride around, not over, the Col d'Aubisque!! Eaux-Bonnes at the foot of the climb advertises illnesses at the roadside, or presumably the cure thereof. Me in 1990 having flashbacks to my asthmatic bronchitis: #tdf25

Je pars plus tôt pour éviter la chaleur. Au pied de Marie Blanque je rencontre un cycliste avec qui je passe la journée (et peut-être demain). Marie Blanque ça commence cool, puis ça s’énerve franchement mais c’est court.
Aubisque c’est long mais plutôt régulier.

Aubisque is sowieso mooie klim. Ik vind die prettiger dan Tourmalet, meer afwisseling. Maar is geweldig persoonlijke mening.
