Hardly surprising. At least north of Sydney. I love great restaurants and don’t mind paying for the experience. But the last 10 years has been expensive disappointment after another. Very pretentious and quite average. The AGFG is no help whatsoever. #ausfood

After looking at a review of best Australian bakeries, its disheartening how the pretension is celebrated. After living in the UK, I have time and again been disappointed in Australian multi-hat places. Poor value, inconsistent quality. And I never go back.
