Is it normal for a parcel with #auspost to just... have no tracking updates and only say the parcel has been received at the drop-off point?
It's been like that for 3 days now...

Woohoo! Australian politicians & parties facing elections are promising to deal with cost of living, the price of everything.

Fedgovt "owns" AusPost, cd reduce price of a stamp.

Govts can't reduce c.o.l. It's all bullshit.

The can refund some taxes, more spending money, driving inflation up.

My favourite complaint taken from the 11th Annual Report, 1920-1921, Postmaster-General's Department, Australia

'In connexion with a parcel which was reported as missing, investigation showed that there was no evidence of the parcel in question having been posted. It transpired that...1/2

Absolutely filthy. It's time for AusPost to go back to being government owned instead of this "for profit" shit.

Yes, Christine Holgate made Aust Post profitable; she took a $3 million pay cut from her predecessor, and franchisees respected her. That's why the government didn't like her, because they couldn't justify privatisation under her leadership.

I wonder if he personally drove the AusPost van from which a blurred photo was taken of the street 150 metres from my house from halfway through a round-about to 'prove' they tried to deliver a parcel but I wasn't home (I was). You could buy a lot of trebuchets with nearly $3million.

Apparently, according to my auspost account, I am getting a package from overseas. It'll be a nice surprise since I haven't ordered anything from overseas.

Last election my vote was sent early via registered express post and still somehow got lost along with others. I had AusPost, USPS, my electoral office and Democrats Abroad looking for it. It turned up eventually just in time.
This year they said FedEx only. But I can't afford $135 for a letter. 1/3

Eg: Cost of Australian postage continues to rise while delivery becomes less frequent. AusPost is a govt owned corp.

My aunt, who is disabled and cannot walk outside, was waiting by an open door expecting an Auspost delivery when she got a text saying she was not at home and telling her to pick up from an (unspecified) post office. 🤯🤯🤯
