There’s also no mention in the ad of the lack of state funding for schools - which means local governments have to come up with the $$. Under recapture, AustinISD tax is at highest level; but $$ are taken away for other school districts. Abbott wants to destroy public education.

I’m really disappointed with @AustinISD. I spoke with the health director, and we agreed on the need for teachers to turn on their already purchased air purifiers. We looped in communications, who promised internal and external updates… and then I was ghosted. Still, nothing has been done

We live in Ausitn, a blue oasis;however, Abbot is always fucking with us. Right now he is squeezing out the public schools for vouchers. AustinISD needs to keep their 900M. Let Abs take it to court.
