It was a 6 Tawny day! Only once before have I seen both breeding pairs with adolescent youngins! Photos don’t quite capture their beauty. Nor could I get all 6. Stay tuned for more.

Single Tawny Frogmouth on a branch of a stringy gum tree. Attempt at all three Tawny Frogmouths on a very stringy gum tree, hardly visible with background light. Two nestled in the crotch of the upper right branch and the third lower down on the left side of the photo. Backlit image of two Tawny Frogmouths visibly huddled together just to the right of the trunk of the tree with a fair bit of stringy bark around them.
