In Australia, an #AuthorPenpals program lets authors help to encourage children to enjoy reading and writing through correspondence with allocated school grades for a year. I highly recommend it! Here's what 'my' Year 2s sent me, based on my picture book, Cheer Up, Blobfish! Such imagination!😍

Beautiful book mail from my Year 1 Author Pen Pals class, based on DOG BEACH. I love the creativity and fun in these artworks! The #AuthorPenPals program is a fantastic initiative, delighting young students and kidlit creatives alike through the medium of children's books.
