1. the LLMs will autodiscover things, but you can save both your and their time by skipping the discovery phase
2. just like a human contributor seeing the codebase for the first time, there's knowledge that it will not discover unless told (e.g. implicit runtime dependencies)

Ich könnte mich immer wieder drüber aufregen, dass Microsoft bei Outlook einfach gültige Standards ignoriert und für Autodiscover per Default anstelle des DNS-Records natürlich erstmal die Microsoft eigenen Cloud Dienste mit EXO bevorzugt 😤
It's easier for a relay that has some seed PDSes to discover more PDSes on the network (by quite literally crawling social graph references) than it is for PDSes to autodiscover relays.
As for how to get the seed PDS, I think word of mouth is the easiest method right now, although it has drawbacks.

They can both autodiscover RSS from a URL + they can both also subscribe to newsletters which is useful when a site only has a newsletter, not an RSS feed
I’m also trying out Tapestry by @iconfactory.bsky.social for some high frequency feeds
