This is fair, because the Constitution specifically rules out the use of Autopens. It was something the Framers felt very strongly about.

I’m surprised that Trump saying he didn’t sign the executive order invoking the 1798 Alien Enemies Act didn’t get more attention. I wonder if this is why he’s suddenly taking so much about autopens.
