Pouring some custom pyrex bottle caps for a customer. Four luer-lock ports and everything's made of silicone. Fully autoclavable!

My petri dishes just keep shrinking! Trying out these clear polypropylene lipbalm containers from Amazon as autoclavable culture vessels. The 10g one is the smallest, seen here, and they come in various sizes. 🧵 1/n

Did you know these self-healing cutting mats are autoclavable? I use these for tissue culture often.

I saw this at a local DD and had all sorts of feels.

That bucket is polypropylene though. Autoclavable.

These autoclavable polypropylene fly fishing bead boxes (TidyCrafts) have a convenient injection molding scar dead center which helps me orient leaf tissue for gene gun shots.

If this is real, the world has changed. I have *never* found autoclavable polycarbonate petri dishes at any affordable price before. EVER. I've been using bead containers made of polypropylene for years now to avoid my polystyrene guilt. Ordering now. PLEASE LET THIS BE REAL!!!

Printing some biocompatible autoclavable parts for a client. First some calibration prints to get resin exposure right, then the real stuff. The resin is absurdly expensive at $100/kg but is said to be the most bio-inert that also has autoclavability as a feature. Clear color too

I could, in theory, print this to make a new gel comb for my casting tray. It would take ***forever*** but the build volume can accomodate. Might even split it into sets of small and large to save print time. So many possibilities now! Autoclavable lab bitssss

Yay, my Badababopsis seeds are sprouting! Trying out a hydroponic matt + autoclavable 100mm petri dish as a reusable starting substrate. Then lift the winners and plop em onto my falcoponic system. Booting up arabi for some contract research gigs I managed to land. 🤞⚡️🌱

We have autoclavable, biocompatible grid holders for #teamtomo! And also a great lesson in crystal mosaic packing.

Designed a quick mod to my gene gun's petri dish caddy to hold my 60mm autoclavable bead box dishes. It also supports standard 100mm, with a modest 2mm rise in elevation. Yay, rapid prototyping!

Of fucking course they got BSL3 on non autoclavable items. Meanwhile, I have had jobs where I had to justify breaking and replacing a beaker!

Tryin this today. It has ISO certs for toy grade and prolonged skin contact so should be biocompatible(ish) for some lab use. Idk about leachants but still worth trying. Also some of the cheapest resin on the market at $19/L.

Still lookin for autoclavable biocompatible resin tho

Aujourd'hui
Pas de fuite ! 🤗
Pas de congélo à dégivrer ! 🤗

Juste un incendie ! 🔥

(Le plastique soit disant autoclavable qui fond ça fait beaucoup de fumée 💨💨💨)

I want that, as well as "FULLY AUTOCLAVABLE"

I've been using these polypropylene snap-fit bead containers as petri dishes for about 6 years now and have not looked back. Smaller than standard but whatevs. Fully autoclavable and CHEAP. I get em from this fishing tackle store here:
