So the dealership told me to go fuck myself (abridged). Anyway, stay the hell away from Group1 Automotive dealerships and Audi of Grapevine Texas specifically. Worst experience with a dealer in my life and now I have a petty vendetta.
Had an email offering to buy my old car as is for cash and when we showed up to sell said car, were told that we cannot rely on "offers in writing" because those "don't bind the company."

(True for many kind of racing, fwiw. I'm very cynical about car racing, but one reason not to be cynical about it is that it has driven automotive technology.)
