Ich beschaffte also ein Kartenlesegerät eines anderen Herstellers. Und siehe da: Die Software läuft zu 90% stabil.
Im alten Kartenlesegerät kam es wohl wiederholt zu Störungen, die durch Autostart behoben wurden, die aber die Arztsoftware abstürzen ließen.

Ich beschaffte also ein Kartenlesegerät eines anderen Herstellers. Und siehe da: Die Software läuft zu 90% stabil.
Im alten Kartenlesegerät kam es wohl wiederholt zu Störungen, die durch Autostart behoben wurden, die aber die Arztsoftware abstürzen ließen.

discord updating doesnt automatically edit the autostart file either, so what can we do about this? well if we take a closer look discord did actually already think of this issue but just didnt bother to actually correct the autostart

so funny new discord linux problem, the discord autostart file is conceptually broken now due to the auto updater and can stop working at any point should discord ever update the discord app id, this thread exists to explain the issue and how to fix it on ur end so feel free to read

discord manages to autostart itself on login whilst:
1) having that setting disabled
2) not having any files in the autostart directory
3) not having any systemctl files

if you arent aware of how the autostart file even gets made, its pretty simple.
if you go to the "linux settings" tab in discord and enable the "automatically open discord" setting, a "discord.desktop" file gets created in ".config/autostart" that looks like this:

Weil ich die letzten Tage einfach nichts im Haushalt gemacht hab muss ich das jetzt unter der Woche nebenher bei achttausend grad Celsius machen wasch- und Spülmaschine sind auf autostart für morgen früh zum Glück muss ich wenigstens nicht mehr selbst saugen
