A circuit of Nailsea Moor this afternoon yielded 6 Common Gull, a Great White Egret, a Peregrine, a late Swallow, several hundred Starling, 40 Fieldfare and 4 Stonechat.

Bit breezy at Portbury Wharf today. Nothing at south pools but lots of ducks sheltering at north pools - teal, wigeon, gadwall, shoveler and mallard. 2 redshank, a little grebe, several stonechat. A marsh harrier kept putting all the ducks up. #AvonBirds

A single skylark hanging round by the ice cream van on the downs is the first I've ever had on this patch. Lots of redwings about. A flock of just over 15 came in from the gorge #avonbirds #bristolbirds

@bristolbirding.bsky.social #avonbirds #ukbirding Cheddar reservoir today : the 2 black-necked grebes showing well with a hint of a little dance! 3 greater scaup, 1 came fairly close. This jay was bold, feeding on the banks and I don't recall seeing so many coots together : c.400-500!
