Check your local library's digital lending apps! In San Francisco, that's #Libby (Overdrive), @hoopladigital.bsky.social , and "Boundless" (once Axis360)

Kanopy even has movies you can check out!
And check Libby and Axis360 too—they all have different catalogues (thanks copyright)

Does this cascade to other programs, too? I can't see you in my library's Axis360 at all but can see some of your books in their Hoopla app. Can't see any of the books listed above.

Boundless used to be called Axis360 and is a digital app by Baker & Taylor, one of libraryland's main book/materials vendor. We don't have it, so I'm not all that familiar with it, but from what I gather, it's mostly the same as Libby. But it makes sense that you wouldn't choose to buy things twice.

Anyone have word on what's going to happen to Boundless (formerly Axis360)?

Many libraries are hooked up with apps like Libby, cloudLibrary, and/or Boundless (formerly Axis360), which will let you check out ebooks and audiobooks.

Many are also connected with Kanopy, Overdrive, and/or Hoopla, where you can stream movies, docs, and TV shows.

I was able to confirm this--B&T rebranded Axis360 as Boundless in 2023 (press release: baker-taylor.my.site.com/boundlessadm...), while Boundless Publishing Group incorporated in March according to the UK Companies House registry. (find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/1628...)
