Předtím vynesl raketu s 21 družicemi konstelace Starlink. Také přistání proběhlo úspěšně. Potom ale požár poškodil jednu z přistávacích nohou a celý stupeň se tak překlopil.

SpaceX has converted one of GOES-U's side boosters (B1072 or B1086) to a Falcon 9, which will support the Starlink Group 12-5 mission later tonight. This is the 2nd time SpaceX has done this; they previously converted B1052 back in 2022.

The booster from the Starlink Group 12-5 mission has just returned to Port Canaveral. It's barely visible, but it's B1086!

Correct, it's a mitigation, I'm curious if that mitigation came out of the loss of B1086 (fire broke out up-on landing but leak was on ascent)

Yesterday late evening at 23:13 UTC a Falcon 9 launched
#Maxar-3 mission from Kennedy Space Center in Florida to deliver the two earth-observation satellites WorldView Legion 5 and 6 into a low-earth orbit.
It was the 4th flight for the 1st stage B1086.

BTW just to clarify something that was once circulated on the web: after landing residual fuel outside of the rocket caused an ignition of fire seconds after touchdown (not something new for even SpaceX, see what happened w/ Falcon 9 booster B1086 1.5 years ago):

BTW just to clarify something that was once circulated on the web: after landing residual fuel outside of the rocket caused an ignition of fire seconds after touchdown (not something new for even SpaceX, see what happened w/ Falcon 9 booster B1086 1.5 years ago):
TBH that's not a big deal since even SpaceX has had something similar (their latest Falcon booster loss B1086 probably happened in a similar way), and this booster would have been inspected/dissected throughout 1st before being considered for anything else in any case.

F9/Maxar WorldView 5/6: This will be the 16th F9 launch this year and the 433rd overall; booster B1086 is making its 4th flight and will attempt a return-to-launch-site landing at the Cape Canaveral SFS, the 59th landing in Florida, if successful, and the 405th stage recovery overall
