Development continues on BAHP: The Vellum Threshold: Issue 1, and today we are sharing a new look at Pages 8 through 10. This section is where Lily Honeydue begins to understand that the world beneath Furthia is not built on fairness, progress, or polite civilization. It is built on hierarchy. After following the trail left behind by ApexGen, the Artifacts, and the strange figures surrounding Old Furthia, Lily finds herself pulled deeper into a truth she was never meant to witness directly. Brunis Valcor does not simply explain the old order to her. He demonstrates it through procedure, status, and expectation. There is no shouting. No chaos. No dramatic ritual. Just a quiet system moving exactly as it was designed to move. That is what makes this sequence so important. Lily is not just being threatened by one elite Carnista. She is being introduced to a structure that existed long before she understood its language. Everything around her still looks refined and civilized, but the meaning underneath has changed completely. This sequence shifts the issue into motion as Ren finds himself cornered by a dangerous group with one clear goal. They want him. But the question is why? Ren is not a fighter. He is not looking for trouble. He is simply trying to get through his day when the pressure suddenly closes in around him. The pursuit quickly turns from unsettling to violent, and before he can fully understand what is happening, he is trapped between predators who seem to know more about him than they should. Then Kate Brightpaw steps in. These pages highlight Kate at her most decisive. She does not wait for permission. She does not hesitate. Once she realizes Ren is in danger, she throws herself into the conflict and forces the attackers to deal with her instead. What starts as a chase becomes a confrontation. What starts as intimidation becomes impact. And what starts as Ren’s problem quickly becomes Kate’s fight. This section is important because it expands the issue beyond the tension surrounding Butch and Kate. It shows that something larger is moving behind the scenes. Ren is being targeted for a reason, and whatever that reason is, it is already drawing dangerous attention. The featured pages focus on: • Ren being pursued through the school grounds • Kate recognizing the threat and intervening • The attackers escalating from intimidation into direct violence • A sharper action sequence that pushes the pacing forward The issue is continuing to develop steadily, and these pages show a strong leap in momentum. The quiet unease is still there, but now it has teeth. More updates will follow as work continues on The Last Routine: Issue 2. Stay Hungry.

A completely new series is taking shape, and this one leans heavily into psychological pressure and identity. Victoria lives in a world where everything is pristine, controlled, and suffocating. Every movement is judged. Every flaw is corrected. She is raised to be perfect, not to be alive. That changes when something enters her life that does not care about perfection. Chompy is not refined. Not controlled. Not polite. And for the first time, Victoria feels something real. Something raw. Something that looks at her not as an image to maintain, but as something to be wanted. This series explores that contradiction. Control versus desire. Image versus instinct.
