Butterflies and Moths of North America, BAMONA, an organization dedicated to the extremely difficult and virtually impossible task of documenting and collecting all Lepidoptera species in North America. That'll take forever, go help them out if you got anything special. www.butterfliesandmoths.org

Christelle Bamona, CRL senior researcher & a co-author of the report, said rising use “is not a signal of satisfaction” with the product. Rather the pattern suggests workers are continually trying to make up for a shortfall in their paychecks resulting from repeated loans & fees.

An early Milbert's tortoiseshell, apparently one of the earliest sightings in the San Luis Valley, Colorado, at least according to the BAMONA moderator for that area. March 2, North Crestone Campground. #Butterflies

This turns out to be a rare moth for New Mexico. BAMONA has one other sighting in the state, on the plains about 100 miles northeast of Albuquerque. North American Moth Photographers Group has no sightings in the state.
