Update! I should have switched to Clip Studio Paint years ago lol
I just cancelled my Photoshop subscription- I genuinely can't keep paying out the ass every year for this shit. Does anyone have any good alternative software suggestions? Both for digital painting/photo editing? My most used tools are the lasso tool, clipping masks, and the levels adjustment layers

I finished that big ol' WIP! Just a dragon and his ball ⭐
This was a mix of the standard CSP pencil and the crap ton of brushes I got for Ibis. Best decision ever. I drew it all with my finger!

CSP is the best program for art. Been using it for years.
Made this in a day on a whim after messing around with some of the tools on CSP. First came the pose, it just screamed Rarity. Apologies for my cursive. ^^;

Yeah, that's ... it's almost like switching mediums. The programs all work slightly differently and have strengths and weaknesses. I've been doing digital for a long time and CSP is just the best for my workflow! I wouldn't want to change.

Update on losing my drawing last week.
With the aid of some CSP effects, a lot of pixel picking, and my habit of saving dozens of high quality PNG wips. I was able to MOSTLY get back to where i was.
Working hard and doing my best to finish it.
