#BGalphabet
#BGalphabet Underwater Cities.

Trying out the Data Era expansion. I don't love building data centres as a concept, but I do like having more flexibility on my turn and sneaking in extra actions.

#BGalphabet S is for... Scholars of the South Tigris.

My brain hurts. Pretty great though.

2nd edition, not the newer abomination.

#BGalphabet Playing The Night Cage with LED candles.

Slightly more awkward, but the things I do for atmosphere.

#BGalphabet U is for... Unconscious Mind.

It's a little bit fussy but I don't always mind that, and it does have some gorgeous art.

#BGalphabet Heading Forward.

I don't have personal experience with TBI, but feeling a bit emotional about simulating trauma recovery. Effective game full of (appropriate) frustrations and big-little wins.

#BGalphabet L is for... Leviathan Wilds.

Look, I'm actually playing co-op today instead of doing everything solo. It does happen.

#BGalphabet I is for... Inventions: Evolution of Ideas.

It's a good day when I get to learn a Lacerda game. Fun combos.
April 25, 2026 at 3:52 AM
#BGalphabet R is for... Robinson Crusoe.

No surprise here. I do love survival games. And if/when everything falls apart it won't completely rip my heart out like This War of Mine.

#BGalphabet A is for Algae Inc.

I am feeling super excited about conveyor belts and algae, okay? It's a first impression, but loving this. Fairly tight number of turns with a lot of choices to work with, and interesting variety in the different player boards.

#BGalphabet B is for Black Sonata.

It's basically magic to me that this game works. Solo hidden movement that doesn't rely on an app. So smooth and clever.
January 15, 2026 at 10:11 AM
#BGalphabet On Mars.

I am having a pretty good day.
July 25, 2026 at 4:01 AM
#BGalphabet A for Agropolis.

I've played some Sprawlopolis, not so much this variant. Enjoy these games but rarely win.

#BGalphabet Q ticked off early thanks to my little desk time-waster.
January 1, 2026 at 9:10 AM
#BGalphabet J is for.. John Company.

I've been waiting for this one. The bot is currently trying to have me impeached as Chairman. I'm sure everything is going to work out great all around.

#BGalphabet Under Falling Skies.

Not quite getting destroyed by aliens today (*cough* on easiest difficulty). I really need to go through the campaign.

#BGalphabet T is for... Teotihuacan: City of Gods.

Yay pyramid!
September 12, 2026 at 6:38 AM
#BGalphabet O is for... Onoda.

Can't resist a slightly dubious but at least different theme, I guess.
July 18, 2026 at 12:23 AM
#BGalphabet Space Hulk Death Angel and Stellarion.

I wasn't getting through S without some kind of space games. Somehow survived the 40k nonsense then failed at the cute game.

#BGalphabet Point Galaxy.

Hit a milestone. Over half of my collection has at least been played, including preorders not yet received.
August 1, 2026 at 6:58 AM
#BGalphabet Ex Libris.

I also have a weakness for sorting and organising things. Don't know what that's about.
February 28, 2026 at 9:57 PM
#BGalphabet Sylvion and the Siege of Shaddis Horne

Theme: Small tower defense games set in universes I'm weirdly invested in.
September 2, 2026 at 9:53 PM
#BGalphabet The Lost Expedition.
June 6, 2026 at 6:26 AM
#BGalphabet Apex Theropod.

Dinosaur nonsense!

I've been weirdly apprehensive about playing this, so using this alphabet game to overcome my resistance. No idea why my anxiety's been in a twist, rationally the most intimidating aspect is the box weight. Big card games are viable weapons.

#BGalphabet Maquis.

I have some pretty good games, you know?
