I wish that was the case, but studies looking at adaptive worms demonstrate that LLMs in the 3B to 8B parameter range (such as Llama-3-8B or Qwen-2.5-7B) are fully capable of executing multi-turn reasoning, parsing system output, and synthesizing attack payloads.

The skynet moment is coming. It won’t be a sentient AI, it will be computer viruses with embedded AIs that can evolve and make decisions on their own. They will evade our detection, stay dormant, attack when they can, improve and learn. By 2028 they’ll be here. berryvilleiml.com/2026/06/03/e...

Another brilliant podcast hosted by Gary McGraw that interviews Melanie Mitchell on the state of AI and why we shouldn’t expect these systems to become fully autonomous any time soon despite the last year’s incredible LLM improvements. berryvilleiml.com/2026/08/01/s...

«AI benchmarks are fundamentally broken. They are often contaminated by their own publication and tend to measure narrow performance rather than actual capability. Today's security benchmarks are 'Halloween costumes in a security theater.' «

AI und "Beigification"

"So when it comes to AI what, exactly, is “beigification,” and is it good or bad?

Your average human resonates with the middle of the Bell curve. But scientists, experts, and academics all exist at the edge of the Bell curve."

Oh yeah, this is a just a great idea (not)

"Objection just went live with a radical proposition: let artificial intelligence decide what counts as legitimate journalism."

It will, in the words of Gary McGraw, pick the "beigest," most boring pieces as possible.
