#booksky #bipocbooksky If you are looking for a diverse cast, 🤌🏾 yes. This book is a melting pot. I really enjoyed it, I read along with the audio book and the narrator did a great job. It does have the "black best friend" but I feel she did a good job with showing how important she was.

A mixed heritage boy comes to terms with his queer identity and discovers freedom and self expression through drag.

Written in verse, this novel is beautiful in every way. I cried emotional I-feel-seen tears at the end.
