In Esau Selling his Birthright, Ter Brugghen tells this intense story through confrontation of heads and play of hands. A+++.

counterpoint: the US is far to the left of most european countries, as they mostly lack birthright citizenship, and the few that have birthright citizenship heavily limit it with qualifiers

This is the most hope I’ve felt on the skyline since I joined the app!

Hold on to this feeling. Remember it in your bones.

It’s your birthright.

This is a quasi in-universe complaint that the liberal Jedis deprived the conservative White Anakin of his birthright. Seriously

I don't think we should have birthright citizenship. I think you should only become an American citizen if you defeat a current citizen in a game of Rock, Paper, Scissors. This is what almost every other country in the world does.

I’m still glad it’s not DeSantis again but your man Donalds: doesn’t believe in climate change, is massively Islamophobic, wants to end birthright citizenship, and described homosexuality as ‘satans work’. Also consistently votes against supporting Ukraine.

he’s not great!

Removing birthright citizenship was part of the slippery slope we find ourselves on now.

Republicans treated the military vote like a birthright. Hand the Pentagon to a TV host who runs readiness like a segment and the troops notice. 67% of them calling decisions political gain instead of readiness should end the birthright talk for good.

While Latinos trend somewhat conservative, the old refrain of, "Immigrate the right way" looks pretty fucking stupid when the nazis are openly lusting after the elimination of birthright citizenship and deporting the dreamers.

I am a scholar of genocide. I became one because I saw our people's genocide of Palestinians when I did my Birthright trip and I was taught "Never Again" applied to everyone. This isn't boredom for me. Is being a genocide denier a matter of boredom for you?

I naively assumed this was a birthright.

Makes perfect sense, & long overdue. We have some inadequate privacy laws, but it really needs to be clear & firm.

its my birthright as a modern transsexual woman that i show my boobs on a dude's shoulders at a metal show

As someone who went on Birthright, if it was intended as deep indoctrination it wasn't very good at it.

What the hell is their "birthright" here? Nazi Grogu AI slop?

This explains the tariff and birthright citizenship decisions perfectly. They saved Trump and the GOP from total extinction and Donald hated it
November 2, 2026 at 11:05 PM
let us not forget that vivek is a birthright citizen with non-citizen parents who opposes birthright citizenship for others

everything he says and does is automatically immoral
