I finished my replay of Code Vein. It's the first time I've gotten the true ending because I messed up on the Fionn Bloodcode on my first playthrough. This ending was *way* better, and overall, I just fell in love with the game again. I still have the DLC to poke at, but I can't wait for 2!

Miku, Sun, Eclipse, Ruin, Bloodmoon and Bloodcode (twins from different dimensions, but treat one another like they've known each other since their "birth"/ creation) Miku and Sun are the gal pals of the group. They know how to do their tasks well, while also playing around and being the type of girls who love shopping. Eclipse is the smart, tech one of the group, always being serious, lack of sleep, and always making sure no one is being stupid and getting hurt. Note: Eclipse is more protective of Sun since he's known her longest. Ruin is a shy, more work in the shadows one of the group. He maintains the twins and their actions, like a mother/babysitter. Bloodmoon is the more chaotic one of the twins, while Bloodcode is more chill and like to antagonize others to swing first. The twins work well together when given a task.

And another take away is while it has some tough battles, it is much easier than many such “hard “ games, and can often be overcome simply by adjusting skills/weapons/bloodcode combos. Or repeating same attack while waiting for openings. Having a sidekick really helps with the aggro.
