In February, BMMA was at the Georgia State Capitol for Reproductive Justice Advocacy Day alongside Amplify GA Collaborative, meeting with legislators and advocating for abortion access, defunding fake clinics, and better maternal health outcomes in Georgia.

#BMHW26 was in April (11-17), but its purpose is still moving. Phoebe Wescott joined the Jamaa Birth Village Black Maternal Health Summit in St. Louis that week, connecting with doulas and midwives advancing community-rooted care.
