Faber-Jackson is for elliptical galaxies what Tully-Fisher is for spirals. Tian shows that the BFJR exists and extends to higher and lower mass systems with the same normalization (within the uncertainties) as the BTFR. They’re the same relation.

Based on my limited knowledge but reading a lot of about this, it could be that dark matter isn’t just one thing, or that we don’t fully understand the nature of the vacuum and/or gravity at cosmic scales and that possibly a0 from the BTFR is a hint about that? 🤔

Suppose MOND successfully captures the universal low-acceleration scaling (e.g., BTFR/RAR), though its interpretation as fundamental may not be unique. This scaling could instead reflect an emergent projection of a higher-dimensional dynamical structure?

レオンハルトはBTFR実装される前にクリスタルクエストの赤育成しつつレベル3の黒で挑んでたときがあって
そのときは大苦戦でターン内で倒すのが大変でした
BTFR実装された時に黒クリ育成を本格的にする時や最終決戦のREシンリュウ戦でパーティに加えてクリアした思い出

#dwarfgalaxies2024 Barbara Siljeg: the HI APERTIF survey is 2200 sq deg but with 15"x15" spatial resolution instead of one galaxy at a time. Get 24 galaxies with MHI < 10, logMstar < 9, at least partially resolved. Though not yet fully resolved, they lean away from the BTFR.
