and on Thursday we welcomed dozens of fourth graders into the BWorks village, bringing a full morning of bike fun to their school to help prepare them for the in-depth BWorks Learn-To-Ride and Earn-A-Bike programs that will be part of their fourth-grade curriculum throughout the academic year. 3/X

And I appreciate that St. Louis Magazine noted Bworks down in the story but it made me finally realize the audience the publication and the newsletter are geared for is a class of people most of us do not belong.

Bworks is in my late friend Larry’s old house, and I like getting little glimpses of it from time to time when it makes its way onto my feed.

On Day 2, our BWorks Earn-A-Bike students practice fixing a flat. Well, today was Day 5, a practice ride before their graduation ride next class for this Alton crew, and guess what? We got some real-life practice (yay glass on park paths? 🫠).

Told one of our (fabulous) BWorks teachers today that if he is going to keep regularly leaving intriguing dad jokes/riddles like this on the bike classroom whiteboard, I am gonna need him to write the answers to the riddles too after the kids guess. What is your guess? :)

This morning marks our 4th @stlbworks.bsky.social class session in 24 hours for our dedicated BWorks team and partners! This group is on week four out at Boulevard Park. It's their first day trying out the bikes they chose during week one and that our mechanics have been fixing up for them since 🌞
