A coastal view on a sunny June day from Traeth Bychan, Isle of Anglesey, North Wales across the cobalt blue and turquoise shades of the Irish Sea. It bears a resemblance to a Caribbean vista. In the foreground are a whitewashed cottage and a tall Cordyline australis, commonly known as a New Zealand cabbage palm. Although it resembles a palm tree, it is actually more closely related to plants like asparagus. There are also various wildflowers including Red Valerian. The sky is bright blue with a line of white clouds on the horizon just above the coastline of the mainland.

All 8 NE Wales parkruns operated on Saturday with 1511 participants (+424 for 7 events last week) & 202 volunteers gave their time (highest so far this year!) I was on set up and then dove off for a weekend of walking - yesterday was Aberglaslyn Gorge/Cwm Bychan #running #walking #parkrun
