Wright Patman, of the Robinson-Patman act hated him so much he used House floor time to call him out, after which he received death threats. Although to be fair he probably deserved it.

The Nazis learned from us. Edward Bernays was perfecting his PR/propaganda handbook in the 1920s. The Nazis actually employed an American PR agency from the beginning (1933).
