#gamedev #byond so I forgot to mention it here as BYOND is pretty much down still, but I did update Zetris 2, my random Tetris clone without turning. It's only live on itch at the moment, but when the site is back up again I'll update it there too.

Holy Astra writes terse code god damn. The majority of the byond client rewritten into rust and it doesn't even hit 20k lines.

I think this is easier to grasp if you were a PC gamer in the 2000s, playing independent stuff that existed outside of the "indie" scene.
Flash games, browser games, RPG Maker, Byond, roguelikes, PC-exclusive stuff like The Spirit Engine, Wesnoth, Eschalon, Geneforge, Knights of the Chalice, etc

What you're refering to as SS13, is in fact, BYOND\SS13, or as I've recently taken to calling it, BYOND plus SS13.
