baalkux (pronounced ball-cucks) is a real character from the league of legends universe and i thought anyone reading this should know that

hmm then shouldn't aatrox's blade not have his heart thingy yet, since he isnt sealed in it yet? Same with baalkux, shouldn't he not be a tree in the art? or is taking over hosts a darkin thing even before they were sealed?

Tbh, both readings have inconsistencies.

The most blaring one is Baalkux, who's cart art depicts the ancient battle, but the flavour text is speaking of his reawakening.

Another one is that if the events are current, why is Varus missing, when his expansion was specifically to stop Xolaani.

I didn't know about that for Aatrox. Maybe im wrong then.

As for Baalkux, yeah, he doesn't fit well in the prequel reading, because if his art depicts a pre-seal form, his flavor text doesn't make sense.

We know Darkin do do that when they overtake a host.

Naganeka has overtaken a chicken, Baalkux a tree and even in LoL Naafiry has overtaken a wolf.

That seems to be the Darkin's main ability. To transform to enhance their host. (2/4)
