Talaani is walking through the camp of Hawthorne Hut, passing through to her family's home. ow while nobody asked about my family, I figured that I should introduce y'all to them. Families define how one grows up and the kind of life they tend to live. I'll introduce you first to my mama, a strong yet sassy woman who raised me and my brothers all by herself after our escape from Gyr Abania here in the Shroud. It's because of her life here before we were born that we were allowed into the Black Shroud when many Ala Mhigans were turned away, but it meant hiding our heritage to avoid most of the persecution and animosity that still lingers in Gridanians over the Autumn War. Talaani makes a grand gesture towards her mother smiling. Skari smirks at the camera with her hands on her hips. Now say hello to my mama: Skari Dawnwalker! She's a former member of the Gods' Quiver and was at the Battle of Carteneau during the Fall of Dalamud. While she lost her right arm and part of her left leg in that battle, she's doing great with the Ironworks prosthetics we got her. She's the one who taught me how to hunt and cook, along with her sharp wit and sassy remarks keeping me and my brothers in line. She's the one who passed her worship of Menphina down to me as she was raised by Keepers and took their beliefs as her own. Talaani gestures back towards her brother with her thumb. Vaeron holds up a hand in greeting. Next up is my middle brother: Vaeron! He's part of the Wood Wailers and is the Captain of his own platoon focusing on the synergy of lancers, archers, and bards. He's a man of few words with a dry humor and wit that leaves people choking on water in surprise when he does deign to speak up. While he'll act humble about it, it was his quick thinking and coordinating that got a lot of people to safety when blasphemies started appearing in the Twelveswood during the Final Days. Also boys, he's single~ Sorry, Vae, but your sis is trying to help! Talaani smiles widely with her arms wide while her other brother, Blithe, makes a humble brag pose. Lastly, we have my youngest brother: Blithe! Though some of you may know him by his 'Stage Name' of Oscarlet. He's a member of the Homunculi, a minstrel group based here in Gridania. He's got a voice like a lark's and his fingers are even faster than mine when playing the lyre, but he did learn all he knows from me so, gonna give myself a pat on the back. He hopes to help the Homunculi break out like how the Songbirds did in Ul'dah and tour the star singing songs and bringing smiles to faces! And that's the family, hope I did them justice in this short time.
