Once I made an avocado-chocolate cake filling. If it were a film scene, you would see this frames in short succession:
1. me, hitting the blending jar on the counter to gather it at the bottom
2. brown spots in my face
3. and on the ceiling

Terrible news I spilled two cups of Nước Chấm sauce EVERYWHERE all over my kitchen counter and it went under the appliances and in the nooks and crannies and there’s little bits of garlic and sambal oelek in everything and it’s all sticky and the whole place stinks of fish sauce.

This morning I planted a few “rescued” plants (in other words, the airport for hairy, winged guys expanded and the balcony is closed for further plant admissions), made pies and donuts and completed the rest of my to-do list. Now I can lean back ... and write. 😊
