At the Oct. 2026 meeting the Ballston Spa trustees approved a consent agenda and multiple motions — adding properties to the village water system, accepting a firefighter resignation, adding roster members, authorizing purchases of fire gear and equipment, and allocating a $7,500 partial match for a traffic calming master plan.

Trustees described ongoing problems with meter readings, proposed staff reassignments for water operations, cited one account with a roughly $13,000 overage, and discussed enforcement options including letters and shutoffs constrained by DOH rules.
