- Or take a hot shower, then go to bed with something cold on your head.
- A bit of tiger balm on your temples.

For me I usually play around with hot or cold. For cold I keep my body warm, but my head cold.

What I'm trying to say is it's hard to buy small amounts of reputable bee or paraffin wax, so there is pressure to find ways to use the big sack of pellets you once ordered online at 2 AM. I also make a great non-greasy lip balm (I didn't measure the best batch-always take notes, kids).

And while I do both (it's the same ingredients with different proportions), 2.25kg of beeswax is a surprisingly large amount of wax, considering a lip balm tube is 5.3g and a charming scented candle in a jar is mostly oil. Not a lot of wizards in my area either, so it ends up being a lot of wax.

i got really bad ingrowns but a safety razor and aftershave balm helped with that and its never gotten as bad as it did when i used a cartridge razor

That's my initial interpretation. Like a lip balm or diaper balm but the Biblical interpretation seems to be more general and basically mean a "remedy".

We had Vapour Balm from the Raleigh's man (this would be late 50s-early 60s). It was a thick yellowish paste that would be smeared on your top lip. It worked for clearing up a stuffy nose but, Jesus, how it did burn.
