#Baltics
The Baltics have tiny economies, and an overtly hostile power on two sides of them. As much as I'd love the UK to rejoin the EU and adopt the Euro, I at least somewhat understand the reluctance to ditch the pound.

Russia threatened NATO and the Baltic states with nuclear weapons if Kaliningrad were “cut off” or isolated. The statement fits Russia’s pressure and intimidation doctrine and hybrid influence tactics in the region.

I suppose a reasonable question would be who is Russia going to attack with? They seem to be going through KIA’s at a frantic rate …who’s left to invade the Baltics?

Is this a pre-emptive warning to Nato to not invade Kalingrad if Russia invades one of the Baltics?
Was CIA Ratcliffe in ruzzia to warn putin&co the west will invade/seperate Kalingrad if the red army crosses the Baltic borders?
If so: don't DO it stupid warheads.

Italian Putinist newspapers gearing up for a Russian attack against the Baltics. The excuse? Kaliningrad feels threatened. Same old same old as in 2022.

Luhovskyi: Of course, there is something to think about when Russia carries out maneuvers in which the attack on individual states is simulated, such as in the Baltics. However, it is so: If an attack were imminent, we would have to see troop movements. But we don't see any.

Of course, a paradigm shift might only go so far. But for the first time, a significant northern European country is openly saying that Israel went too far in Gaza. This carries weight. In places you wouldn't expect, too, like eg the Baltics

It’s been 0 days since Russia threatened nuclear war. We aren’t worried, and you shouldn’t be, either. But Russia is setting conditions for potential conventional action in the Baltics. That’s the real threat.

You don't understand how NATO functions. 🤡

All the former Warsaw Pact countries WANTED protection so as to never be under the russian jackboot of oppression ever again. It's worked to keep russia out.

If NATO protection didn't exist the Baltics would all be under brutal russian occupation now.

This is indeed a clumsy attempt at divide-and-conquer.

The "future" of NATO without France, the Baltic countries or UK is a very strange attempt at "manifesting" rubbish into existence (yet again).

Looks like:

Baltics: sacrificial cows.

UK+FR: don't look at their nukes, let us provide.

Sigh 🙄
❗️The United States is organizing a working meeting in Poland on the future of NATO without inviting the United Kingdom, France, or the Baltic states. The initiator is Elbridge Colby from the Pentagon. Those invited are Norway, Sweden, Finland, Poland, Germany, and the Netherlands.
