Two rather small test illustrations for a book that never came to fruition, it would have covered the fauna and flora of the early Cretaceous, with a focus on the carst fillings - yes Cretaceous cave remains - from the town of Balve.

Just yesterday I visited the locality to dig a lil myself, and here comes the next paper!
Balve (German Wealden) is a cave cross section in northern Germany with tons of animals. Newest additions are the already known turtle Helochelydra and now the new mammal Spelaeomolitor.
