While I not a fan of them nor sororities, but unfortunately part of becoming an adult is deciding what social circles you run with. Banning the officially recognized organizations will not solve the problem not prevent anything it would a bandaid to cure aids and cancer

I think I share a lot of the common derision for symbol encounters, though. They feel like a bandaid that misunderstands the reason people dislike random encounters at all and put even more onus on the player to curate their own experience, which to me gets exhausting.

That's where I sympathize with Hannah-Jones the most. I can't shake the feeling that I'm ruining my kid's future by lurching from one bandaid to the next for all the dysfunction and failure she is experiencing. The system is against us, just less horribly so than against black & brown families.

especially bc i was already being very careful to not give All of the information. so my therapist picking up on the emotional abuse was just a signal i needed to be even less honest 💀
i feel like therapy for a lot of kids is just a bandaid until they can get free of their parents tbh.

any solution that includes singling out trans people and separating us from our cis counterparts is poorly thought out and nothing more then a bandaid at best.
