Does anyone have a recommendation for a good book or other resource for learning like... the basics of gardening and landscaping?
I have no idea when I'm supposed to fertilize or put down barkdust or mulch or any of that stuff, but I'd like to learn.

It was technically the neighbor’s fence and instead of having to replace over 100’ of fence & potentially having the flames spread to the houses less than 20’ away, the fire only took out about 30’ of fence total, some shrubs & some bamboo. It didn’t spread to the barkdust and was put out quickly.

Even if KOF had a bad entry, it can still survive by virtue of the media and culture surrounding it (characters, designs, music, art, etc.)
If Virtua Fighter has a bad entry, there is like nothing to hang onto because characters have as much personality as barkdust (I actually like Virtua Fighter)

Got my little garden planted today! 2 new cherry tomatoes (Orange Paruche & Red Torch), 1 Annina eggplant, and 2 baby Habanada peppers. Cross your fingers for the peppers especially. Tried them last year with no luck.
Also, my dogwood is showing out.

3 years ago we had some big trees. Last year a winter storm knocked them all down. Last week we scraped it all down. This week I planted a ton, made a little flagstone patio, installed irrigation, and spread so much barkdust. Still have to plant a new tree and bury some lines but I’m tired 😅

I was visiting my parents after Christmas. I asked Mum if she had painted the rock in the front yard. She didn't know abt the rock until I pointed it out. On the other side it just says "JB 2025." We have no idea who that is. I think they were gifted it because someone liked their light display

My goal this summer is to spend about an hour each day working outside in the yard.
