Department of Public Works director Kelly Colby reported that Barnstable has appropriated over $340 million toward CWMP phase 1, outlined completed and ongoing sewer expansions, and said phase 2 will begin in 2031.

DPW communications manager Kelly Collopy said sewer construction on main roads will continue through June with three active work zones, neighborhood summer work approved in Osterville, wastewater facility upgrades ongoing, and the Barnstable Municipal Water Supply Board voted to lessen watering restrictions to one day per week under a level-one drought.
