For reviews, I hate to suggest fragrantica because it is *literally*, like in complete actuality, run by Russian MAGA, but it also has the most fragrances and reviews. Wikiparfum, Parfumo and Basenotes are also good resources.

i ended up having to use basenotes/ ordering sample vials online because in person selection is so limited outside the mainstream notes for men’s as well. which sucks! i like shopping in person!

This is so real because through writing I have realized idk wtf certain scents are in real products. Like “oh this smells like amber” me: “how does a rock have a distinct scent?” It annoys me so much 😭
