Who is my neighbor is always the wrong question. In Luke 10:25-37, Jesus didn't answer that self-justification question with a category, but with a story and a question: Which one BECAME a neighbor? The one who showed mercy.

Consumer Christians are only willing to commit to their own convenience.

They are stuck in the third soil of Matthew 13 and never bear fruit. What we call church growth today is mostly catching more consumers with entertaining commitment-free convenience.
