It’s nice to see that Friends of Batley Station have replaced the banner commemorating Jo Cox with something more permanent, it was getting quite tattered.

After my walk I am back on rails at Batley station. I didn’t walk all the way here. I was far too easily tempted by a bus stop!

I used to live in Batley, which is definitely deprived, and you could get matcha, because apart from anything else, Greggs sells it.
