Leisurely day today, we were both a bit delicate this morning so we had a late breakfast and took the batobus to explore Isle de la Cité, had a fancy croque monsieur for lunch, then headed back to the Eiffel Tower.

Do a little tour on the Seine using the batobus - a hop on hop off way to see several great spots incl Notre Dame & the E. Tower - disembark, walk around, browse, back on the next boat. Great on sunny days & cheap-ish www.batobus.com

Hystérique parce que je prend le batobus presque tous les jours à Lorient et je viens ENFIN de tomber sur le Neoliner Origin, aka le plus grand cargo à voiles du monde, dans la rade de Riantec. Mon inner child est en train de devenir zinzin. À droite : mon petit batobus rikiki à côté du monstre.

The batobus is fantastic on the Seine. Hop on and off at 9 stops. Ticket lasts for 24 hours (we used ours all afternoon and the following morning too)

Je pensais que le service de Batobus et tout le réseau de transports publics IZILO de Lorient allait se dégrader avec le rachat par la RATP mais non… Du coup les petits de Tiktok ont sans doute raison. C’est Pecresse le problème.

A2. Notre Dame, the large stained glass rose windows. The high, decorative ceilings. Seeing it for the first time as we road the Batobus over still sticks in my memory.
