He’s going to have a repeater handgun and ruby ring to hopefully give my Kislev much needed punch in Battlemarch.

Another Night Goblin for my Battlemarch army! This time I mixed the Tone Pro paints with Mini Colour and AK, which sorted out the satin problem for me.

I like Fantasy Skirmish games the most, but Sci-fi skirmish is also great.
My favourite games are Warcry, Arcworlde, Moonstone, Necromunda

The Skull Pass cart could be used in the Battlemarch format, as a Baggage Train model, that is a 60mm by 100mm base you used for it right?

Booked to do more Old World Battlemarch in Nov/Dec, and I was thinking of taking some dwarfs.
But that’s boring, so I picked up these to try and make my Kislev (Ren-Crowns) function better.
A captain with repeater handgun, and a wizard on foot so I can hopefully do a lot more ranged damage.

#Hobbystreak day 234. I med up with a friend for a quick battlemarch game because he wanted to test out some Cathay stuff to see if it would be too OP against new players. Even with no upgrades the Shugengan is really strong at 600 points. I also finished my marine characters.

In fact, you could even go full cavalry, have your hero mounted on a chariot, unit (or 2) of knights and a couple of Horsemen units, one with spears, one with handweapons, and have a VERY mobile and hard hitting Battlemarch army, not one you'd normally see from Chaos!

Really there's no right or wrong way to build a Battlemarch force, as you'll be unlikely to ever encounter any really hard to kill monsters in it, so instead of the chariot, take both Marauders on foot & horse, the two foot units your core battleline and the cavalry supporting each other.

Yep.
Battlemarch is a format for small games, and it's minimum requirements are One Hero and Two Core Units.
And thankfully, for Chaos, Knights are a Core Unit 😁

Those are really cool! You don’t have to rebase tho, plenty of places to get base extenders so they remain usable in older rulesets too. Someone recommended Battlemarch, I’d second that :)

Yes, I roughly work that out to be a 500 point Battlemarch valid army under the current Old World Rules.
Which is a nice start for a classic vintage Chaos Army.
