Fave battleshonen tropes:
when a char is so much of a top they can low dif fuck 2 bottoms into a messy state with their superior vigor...

losing even with numeric advantage...,,,,

Almost all battleshonen authors have no grasp of pacing and are in dire need of an editor.

It is #weebwednesday once again my friends! You know the drill - quote with your weeb hot takes, no racist shit, no intentionally inflammatory shit, have fun with it <3
screenshot of lain from the opening of serial experiments lain, a young girl with a tan overcoat, black shirt, brown hair and brown eyes with a tan hat staring morosely forward. there is text scrolling across the screen saying "this week's tragic events and express" - this screenshot was from a video during an airing of lain immediately following 9/11

I feel like last art is gonna underperform so as a totally normal person

I just watched a battleshonen here, got feels by one motivational scene and now speedrunning a second art here in less time than the other one for today

I'M NOT DONE

Thinking about doing fun posts maybe

Smth like chameleonsona saying moots suck (/j) and then they drop their oc refs + powers in comments so i draw some cool battleshonen scene with them- 🦎🆚️

(JUST AN IDEA, not the actual post)

Draw my chameleon-sona Dig! 🦎✨️

Suggestions (not obligatory):
- draw slice of life or battleshonen scene with him + your oc!
- Read alt text for info/ lore ⤵️
HALF-CHAMELEON DIG Name: Dig As known as half-chameleon/ "chaotic chameleon" Dig Gender: He/ him Age: above 24 yo (probably) Traits / Personality: silly, excentric, stubbornly optimistic, clumsy, self-awarely shy, nerd, tech savvy. In the past he used to be a lonely human scientist that got fused with his pet chameleon during the apocalypse cataclism, thus gone mutant. Nowadays he lives in the post apocalyptic world in the wastelands, he had his wake-up call after surviving the cataclism and thus is determined to fresh start life as a optimistic and silly survivor despite the circunstances. He wants to be a good host for visits but gets a bit clumsy and self conscious cus he knows he might be too excentric from lone time In the wastelands, there are "mutated" zones in which reality itself is warped and has warping effects, like ocs crossovers, Dig looking more cartoony/ chibi, gender bending, etc. Powers and skills: - Tech savy, spear user (which he also uses as improvised pen for art!) Half-chameleon mutant body allows him to: - shoot/stretch/move long-tongue 👅🦎 - move his eyes in different directions (spinning them can weak-hypno) - prehensile spiral tail can be used as shield, spring, grabbing, etc 🍥 - change skin & clothes colors depending on his will and emotions. Can be used for camouflage /invisibility and unconsciously show his mood, any intented use of it can fail if he loses control of his emotions: - teal optimism 🩵🙂 (default) - pink blushing love 🩷😳 - green happy 💚🤗 - orange atention-seeking 🧡😝 - yellow scared 🟡😨 - purple smug 🟣😏 - grey numb 🩶🫥 - rainbow emotional-overload 🌈 - white peaceful 🤍😌 - "Mutancy" spiritual energy user, born from the willpower to change oneself and/ or the world ☢️❤️‍🔥🧬, also the source of any apocalypse survivor mutation DTIYS - draw this chameleon (he/him) in your style vwv

In my mind, Dig in my sfw lore faces many post apocalyptic mutated augemented survivoers, monsters and even conceptual incarnations, battleshonen style

Nsfw lore: there was this time Dig head got MAULED by this char ass n thighs--

It's was pretty interesting how the vibes would go from silly, to serious gore, to action, to romance, to mostly silly and so on haha XD

Everyone in city being secretly a battleshonen fighter char was my jam and as good old classic stories it all revolved around love~

Fun watch Jaqbun haha >w>

As a battleshonen lover I like that Luffy, Ichigo, Naruto and Goku are in the rooster!

I STILL wish Neutral and Up special moves were different, even if i understand gameplay-wise they wanted him to be a grappler, Final Smash can be updated for Luffy new power up vwv
